Phobia, Puxton Park
31/10/2024
When the sun drops at Puxton Park, the atmosphere shifts completely. “Phobia” delivers two and a half hours of pure adrenaline across six distinct scare zones. From the claustrophobic dread of the Doll House to the high-energy chaos of the Zombie Zone and the Haunted Tractor Ride.
For this project, I wanted to document the raw reality of the night.
My lens was split between capturing the genuine, emotive reactions of the attendees navigating attractions like the Freak Show and The Old Parlour, and the incredible theatrical work driving the scares.
The monsters haunting the shadows were talented performing arts students from Weston College. Alongside the candid crowd shots, I worked closely with these actors to create dramatic, character-driven portraits for their professional portfolios, capturing the intense energy they brought to the dark.
